My Journey to E-Learning

Welcome to my instructional design portfolio! My name is Emily. I grew up and live in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. My previous experience as an educator allowed me to hone my creativity and passion for learning making my transition into instructional design seamless and exciting. My professional journey is marked by a commitment to teamwork and collaboration, essential in creating impactful learning experiences.

I honed my skills through the Applied Instructional Design Academy, where I gained expertise in every step involved in planning, designing, and creating e-learning. Adjusting to receiving feedback was difficult initially, but now I welcome the insight as it helps me grow and improve.

Currently, I design engaging and effective learning solutions for adults, driving improvements in performance and workplace culture. My portfolio showcases the approaches I've developed to address various educational challenges, all aimed at fostering growth and productivity.

Beyond my professional life, I am married and have two wonderful kids and a sweet dog. When I'm not working, my family and I enjoy exploring the scenic landscapes around Austin.
